Jake Grandorge is a South London based singer, songwriter and producer who seamlessly fuses traditional songwriting with dramatic and experimental production values. He began producing his own music at 15, exploring the fragility of young relationships, which he considers to be both epic and banal. Crafted in the confines of a bedroom studio, the songs explore social intricacies and vulnerabilities of his generation.
With an Arthur Russel-esque fragility to his voice, there is a notable sensitivity to the delivery and subject-matter of Grandorge’s music that touches the soul. Having received mentorship from the likes of Tom Odell, Chilly Gonzales, Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy, Trojan Sound System, Black Science Orchestra and Ashley Beedle, as well as further encouragement from the likes of Quinn Oulton, Grandorge has developed an appetite for writing painful and joyous music to become one of the most exciting new artists of today.
